Once again, our design team closely collaborated with 3Shape engineers for a new generation of intra-oral scanner. Always driven by innovation, user needs and team spirit. Years of research and development resulted in the most simple, hygienic, ergonomic and fast intra-oral scanner.

Detailed modeling and surfacing work was needed to reach advanced ergonomic and hygienic solution. Chasing the balance between highly functional technology and compact device.
A strong and fruitful relationship with the 3shape engineering team has been the key to overcome these many obstacles we faced all along our journey, showing the design process is a team effort.
With a double button, TRIOS® 5 can be used as a remote control. By pointing at the screen, it is now possible to navigate TRIOS software and investigate 3D scan models. The long-lasting battery allows multiple scans throughout the day. Aided by a built in gyroscope, the battery level is indicated when the device is lightly shaken. The fine tuning of TRIOS® 5 shells makes it the most hygienic scanner on the market.
