More than 10,000 hours of work shaped the award-winning F8 design. Its asymmetrical form reflects the speed and efficiency of the workflows it facilitates, while circular elements emphasize the movement of the mechanism. The aluminum ring conveys precision, and the scanner pays homage to Scandinavian design traditions by combining minimal form with maximum function.

Engineered for articulator and dual model scanning workflows requiring minimal scanner interaction, F8 enables greater efficiency, reducing time and steps to get more done.

Research played a crucial role in the project, as visits to dental labs worldwide highlighted the demand for a scanner that embodied speed in every aspect. This insight drove the design, resulting in a scanner that enhances workflow efficiency for lab technicians in fast-paced environments.

The F8 lab scanner received the Red Dot Best of the Best Award 2023 which is the highest distinction in the competition and awarded to pioneering designs.
